At Signet Resources Ltd (Signet) and our parent company, Macildowie Associates Ltd, we respect your personal data. This Fair Processing Notice explains how we use your personal data when it has been provided to us as a beneficiary for one of our employee benefits.

What Personal Data We Collect and How We Use It

When a new employee starts with Signet, we ask for contact details of a beneficiary for our benefits scheme. Employees may also provide beneficiary information when eligible for enhanced benefits (e.g., adding a partner to private healthcare).

We ask for the beneficiary’s name, address, and relationship to our employee. Depending on the benefit, we may also ask for the beneficiary’s date of birth.

Information is stored digitally on our HR system and may be entered into our master spreadsheet and communicated to the relevant provider, broker, advisory service, and HMRC as required.

We do not process Special Category data for beneficiaries.

Legal Basis

We process this data under our legitimate interests to provide services for our employees. You have the right to object—please contact us if you have concerns.

Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making.

International Transfers

We do not transfer your personal data outside the UK.

Retention

We hold your data for two years from the date the employee who provided your details ends their employment. After this, we delete the record.
