We are recruiting exclusively for a global company who are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst for a challenging yet rewarding long term contract. Working as part of a team of 3, the Credit Risk Analyst reports to the Credit Manager. The Analyst role is focused on the financial support and risk of losses is minimised and controlled.
Main Responsibilities:
Carrying out annual risk assessment of creditworthiness based on financial analysis of statutory accounts,MI and manufacturer composites.
Recommend appropriate actions to improve the dealer’s risk grading.
Discuss with dealers their credit limit requirements
Assess and recommend appropriate courses of action using targets , profitability and trading activities
Respond quickly to problems such as unpaid debits/poor stock audits
The successful candidate will be an experienced Credit Analyst with a minimum of 5 years exposure in underwriting facilities in excess of £5m through a bank/financial services. You will be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of lending principles and underwriting methodology. Automotive industry or banking background would be advantageous.
