If you raise a data protection complaint through another route, we will still ensure it is directed to the appropriate team for review.
You do not need to use legal terms or refer to data protection law. Simply explain your concern, and we will treat it as a data protection complaint where appropriate.
What to include
To help us investigate your complaint, it may be useful to provide:

- A description of your concern
- Any relevant dates or correspondence
- The outcome you are seeking
You can still make a complaint if you do not have all of this information.
What happens next
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 calendar days of receipt
- We will investigate the concerns you have raised
- We may contact you for further information if needed
- We will keep you informed if the investigation is ongoing
- We will provide you with a clear outcome explaining our findings and any action taken
